Exciting Confirmed Events for New Year

January 3rd Peoples Kitchen & Cinema- Stumble back into the swing of things with our regular peoples Kitchen which will begin at 6pm with food served at around half past six. The meal we cook is usually made of vegetables that would otherwise go to waste (e.g. skipped food) although we often have to buy some staples such as pasta, rice, etc. No one is expected to pay for the meal, though donations towards the cost of production are greatly appreciated- please bring your own plate if you have one and help with washing up.

Following the food, we will most likely watch a film based on the general consensus of what people would like to see so bring a film along if you would like. Current Ideas for films include: “The Weather Underground” a documentary about the American revolutionary group , “The Interrupters”  a film about gun violence in America, and”The Crisis of Civilization” a film about the environmental and political issues in our current system.
